What We Do
Large GroupRUF meets every Wednesday night at 7:30 pm in Beering 2280 for worship, teaching, and great people. For many people our large group meeting is the entry-point into RUF, and like everything we do, it is a meeting directed towards all kinds of people - regardless of one's spiritual background, beliefs, doubts, or questions. This is a place for you to ask questions and explore Christianity if you are unsure of your beliefs or to grow in your understanding of the gospel and its impact on all areas of our lives. So regardless of where you stand, we would love to have you join us. You can find Curtis' past sermons under the Resources tab.
Small GroupsWe recognize that the Christian life is far too difficult and counter-cultural to live out on our own. We need meaningful relationships in order to work out the implications of the gospel in our lives. That is why we offer community groups that meet throughout the week all over campus in order to provide an opportunity to build relationships, to study the Bible with others, to pray - and to eat - together. Please let us know if you would be interested in joining a small group or starting one with some friends. Email Curtis with any questions! This Semester we have four groups, a Women's Small Group (Monday nights at 7:30 in Wood Lobby of Windsor Hall studying Philippians), a Men's Small Group (Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:30 in Krach 378A studying 1&2 Timothy), a Coed Small Group (Tuesday afternoons from 12:00-1:00 in Krach 148 studying Hebrews) and a Freshman/Sophomore Small Group (Thursday evenings from 5:45-7:00 in Krach 148 looking at the Fundamentals of Christianity)!
ServeRUF provides several opportunities throughout the year to be involved in loving and serving our campus and our community. Check our calendar frequently to stay informed about the latest service events.
